About us

A khata book that fits in your pocket.

UdhariPlus started from a very ordinary problem: keeping track of who owes whom, without a notebook, sticky notes, or a faded WhatsApp message from three months ago.

Why we built it

Udhar — lending and borrowing small amounts between friends, family, and local shopkeepers — is part of everyday life across India. But the way most people track it hasn't changed in decades: a notebook, a memory, or a chat thread that gets buried. We wanted something that felt as simple as that notebook, but never lost a single entry.

What we built

UdhariPlus is a lightweight expense and lending tracker built end-to-end in Flutter. Every customer and transaction is saved in a local SQLite database right on your device — no account, no sign-up, no waiting on a server. Add a customer in seconds using your phone's contacts, log what you gave or got, and the app keeps the running total for you.

How we think about your data

Money records are personal. That's why UdhariPlus is designed to keep everything on-device by default, rather than asking you to trust a cloud server with your khata. You can read more on our Privacy Policy page.

Where we're headed

We're a small team focused on getting the basics right first: a fast, reliable, offline-friendly ledger. From there, we're listening closely to how people actually use UdhariPlus — shopkeepers running daily credit, roommates splitting bills, friends settling up after a trip — to decide what comes next.
